A Few Things I've Been Up To...

I mentioned I was working on some shower invitations. Here's a look at how they turned out:

The sun came out today! The humidity was thick, but we ventured out to the zoo with a friend.

Are the monkeys on the inside or the outside?

Close encounter of the gorilla kind.

Yes, I let her lay on the ground to feed the bird (just long enough to take a picture!)

SP - Those invitations are works of art!! You are so very talented! Loved the zoo pics too; that's a great way to enjoy these sunny days!

now if you let her lick the ground . . . well that might be something

Those invites are amazing. I've finally stumbled upon your site, so I don't know the history of this project, but you obviously have quite the gift of creativity!

Little people are just so fascinating! I miss being able to carry my own kids.

BITS - Thanks, it was fun to make them. And we definitely enjoyed our time at the zoo!

K - Well, she has been known to lick odd things (like the wall)...but the ground? Ew!

MT - So glad you found me. There's not really much history to the project. Just hosting a shower for a friend!

C - And they are SO much fun. The zoo is literally an adventure EVERY time. I love watching them discover the world around them.

I've been meaning to tell you I like your new blog header. Those eyes! Lovely.

And your invitations, why who would want to put them in the drawer? They're beautiful enough to frame!

That looks like the Bronx zoo, you know?
